Student ID
It is MANDATORY that all students attending Aviron Technical Institute of Montreal to hold a student I.D. The card is will permit you to gain access to borrow tools from the Tool Room. Note that this is your personal identification card with the school and it must be returned on demand.
⇒You are a new student? You will receive your Student ID during the first week you begin classes. The administration will contact you to take your picture and will give you your ID in hand the same day. Please have a valid photo ID with you, ie passport, drivers license, medicare card ect.
⇒Lost card? You will need to write an email to the administration to report your lost card and to have a new one printed. Present yourself at the reception to pay your fee, a $10 fee will apply. You will be notified by email when your new card is ready.
OPUS Card
The OPUS card is the transit card used on the island of Montreal. Full-time students have access to the register photo OPUS card to pay the reduced fare.
On the first day of classes, students who can benefit from this service will have to fill out the STM form. The information provided on the form, student full-time status and age, will be validated by the school. The form will then be stamped with the Aviron Technical Institute of Montreal seal.
To benefit from this service, the student must present themselves at one of the STM photo studios with their completed and sealed form. Please consult the STM page for detailed information.
Lockers
Students can reserve lockers for the entire duration of their program. It is important to note that there is a limited amount of lockers, therefore we function on a “first come, first serve” basis. Aviron Technical Institute of Montreal is not responsible for any losses or theft, we highly recommend that you DO NOT leave any valuables in your locker.
Students must present themselves at the reception to pay the $10 fee to receive a locker. The fees are reimbursable at the end of the program upon presentation of the receipt received at the the time of payment.
