RAC - Recognition of Prior Learning
Eligibility for Recognition of Prior Learning (RAC) Services
Aviron Technical Institute of Montreal is proud to announce that it is now eligible to offer Recognition of Prior Learning (RAC) services.
This program allows adults who have acquired skills through work experience or informal training to have their competencies officially recognized without having to redo the entire training program.
Eligible Programs (DEP)
- Électricité (DEP 5295)
- Mécanique automobile (DEP 5298)
Eligible Applicants
- Canadian citizens
- Permanent residents
Who is RAC for?
RAC is for individuals who:
- • Have relevant experience in the targeted field
- • Want to obtain official recognition — DEP diploma
- • Want to accelerate their training path
Required Documents
- Photo ID or health insurance card
- Social Insurance Number
- Diplomas and transcripts
- Training certificates or attestations
- Up-to-date curriculum vitae (CV)
- Employment letter or experience attestations
- Detailed task descriptions
- Any proof of relevant experience (photos, projects, reports, etc.)
RAC Process
The candidate must:
Submit a RAC application (complete the form)
Have their file analyzed
Participate in a validation interview
Complete evaluations (theoretical and practical)
Receive official recognition of competencies
Fees
Total RAC fees are determined after the candidate's file has been analyzed. A training plan and detailed cost estimate will be provided before evaluations begin.
